ITINERARY
After breakfast, depart Kampala or Entebbe for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Enjoy scenic views of rural life, rolling hills, and lush tea plantations.
Stop at the Equator line for photography and a coffee break before continuing your journey through the Kigezi Highlands, known as the “Switzerland of Africa.” Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge
Accommodation Options:
Rise early for breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. Set off into the dense rainforest with professional rangers in search of your assigned gorilla family.
The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, but when you finally meet the gorillas, the experience is breathtaking — observing them feed, play, and interact in their natural world. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
After a relaxed breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a beautiful crater lake dotted with 29 islands. Check in at your lakeside lodge and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Spend the day canoeing, swimming, or visiting local islands, including the famous Punishment Island. In the evening, relax by the lakeshore as you watch the sunset over the terraced hills. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with beautiful lake views, then begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Stop for lunch and souvenir shopping en route, arriving in the evening — marking the end of your unforgettable gorilla and lake safari.
