ITINERARY
Your safari begins early morning with a scenic drive from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Enjoy a guided walking safari as you track Uganda’s only wild rhinos. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.In the evening, relax and enjoy the sunset over the River Nile. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Accommodation Options:
Begin your day with an early morning game drive through the park’s savannah plains. Look out for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, and Uganda kob. Return to the lodge for breakfast and leisure.
After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls — watch hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the banks. Optional short hike to the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and drive southwest towards Kibale Forest National Park, the “Primate Capital of the World.” Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, tea plantations, and local villages along the way. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and relax as you prepare for chimpanzee trekking the next day. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing, then set off for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Spend an hour observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitat as they feed, play, and communicate. Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, famous for birds, monkeys, and local community experiences. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before beginning your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy scenic countryside views and a stop for lunch en route. Arrive in the late afternoon — marking the end of your memorable 5-day Ugandan adventure.
