ITINERARY
Depart Nairobi in the morning (around 7:30 AM) and journey southwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Enjoy a brief photo stop at the viewpoint overlooking the valley before continuing your drive past Longonot and Suswa to Narok Town, the gateway to the Maasai Mara. Enjoy a picnic lunch in Narok, then proceed through the rolling savannahs and arrive at the Maasai Mara National Reserve in the late afternoon. En route, enjoy your first game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps even the first glimpse of the Big Cats.
Arrive at your budget safari camp (e.g., Lenchada Tourist Camp) for dinner and overnight.

Spend the entire day exploring the wonders of the Maasai Mara National Reserve on morning and afternoon game drives. A packed picnic lunch will be served at one of the scenic spots inside the park, often overlooking the Mara River, where hippos wallow and crocodiles sunbathe. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.
