ITINERARY
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to your lodge. Relax from your flight and prepare for the safari. Accommodation: Mrimba Palm Hotel Arusha.
Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for massive elephants and giant baobab trees. Enjoy game drives along the Tarangire River where wildlife gathers. Accommodation: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
Enjoy a full day safari for deeper exploration of Tarangire’s river valley ecosystems. High chances of lions, leopard sightings, elephants, and giraffes. Accommodation: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore the groundwater forest, hippo pools, massive baboon troops, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions (rare but possible). Accommodation: Country Lodge Karatu.
Drive to Lake Eyasi for a cultural day. Visit the Datoga tribe (traditional blacksmiths). Sunset along the lake. Accommodation: Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.
Very early morning visit to the Hadzabe Bushmen, joining them on a traditional hunt. Learn their tracking, bow shooting, and fire-making. After the visit, drive toward Serengeti with game viewing en route. Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp (Central Serengeti).
Spend the full day exploring the heart of Serengeti. Excellent for lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, elephants, and abundant wildlife. Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp.
July–October: Serengeti North for the river crossings. Dec–March: Ndutu/South for calving season. Other months: Extended Central Serengeti exploration. Full-day safari focusing on migration herds and predators. Accommodation (Seasonal): Mara River Tented Lodge (North). Ndutu Safari Lodge (South). Heritage Tented Camp (Central).
Morning game drive, then exit Serengeti heading to the crater highlands. Optional visit to a Maasai boma. Accommodation: Rhino Lodge (Ngorongoro Rim).
Descend into the crater for a half-day safari. Expect to see rhinos (if lucky), lions, buffalo, hippos, elephants, jackals, and more. After lunch, visit Mto Wa Mbu village for a banana plantation walk, woodcarving market, and cultural exposure. Drive to Arusha for overnight. Accommodation: Mrimba Palm Hotel Arusha.
Relax in the morning. Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure. End of 11-Day Private Safari.
