ITINERARY
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your lodge. Relax, swim, and prepare for your safari. Accommodation: Mrimba Palm Hotel Arusha (or similar).
After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park. Enjoy a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. Walk among giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and monkeys while learning about plants and tracks. Later, enjoy a game drive to Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater. Accommodation: Mrimba Palm Hotel Arusha.
Depart for Tarangire, the land of giants and huge elephant herds. Game drive through baobab forests and river valleys full of wildlife. Accommodation: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
After breakfast, drive across the Ngorongoro highlands toward Serengeti. Afternoon game drive in central Serengeti—excellent for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp (Central Serengeti).
A full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti. Look for predators, the Big Five, and seasonal migration herds. Picnic lunch in the bush. Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp.
Early morning game drive, then drive to Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater—one of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. Expect to see black rhinos, lions, hyenas, buffalo, elephants, hippos, and more. Later, exit the crater and head to Karatu. Accommodation: Country Lodge Karatu.
Breakfast then drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore its beautiful forests, flamingo-filled lakeshore, elephants, baboons, and—sometimes—tree-climbing lions. After the game drive, return to Arusha. End of Safari.
