ITINERARY
Pick-up at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your lodge. Relax and prepare for your safari. Accommodation: Mrimba Palm Hotel Arusha.
Drive to Tarangire, home to Tanzania’s largest elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Game drives along the Tarangire River where animals gather to drink. Accommodation: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
Drive to Lake Eyasi, a stunning and remote area home to two of Tanzania’s most traditional tribes. Visit the Datoga tribe (blacksmiths & pastoralists). Later, enjoy the lake views and sunset. Accommodation: Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.
Early morning hunt with the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Learn their tracking, bow-hunting, and fire-making skills. After the experience, drive to Ndutu region. Accommodation: Ndutu Safari Lodge (or similar).
Explore Ndutu plains – a prime location for big cats, especially cheetahs and lions. Between December–April it hosts calving season with thousands of wildebeest. It’s also excellent for photography. Accommodation: Ndutu Safari Lodge.
After breakfast, game drive toward Central Serengeti. Seronera is famous for year-round lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephants, and more. Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp.
Early morning game drive in Serengeti. Later drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at Maasai boma (optional). Arrive at the crater rim with breathtaking views. Accommodation: Rhino Lodge (Ngorongoro Rim).
Descend 600m into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Expect to see black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and hippos. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Drive back to Arusha.
